This is the trip you want to take if you want to see all of the treasures the Island of Maui has to offer. You literally figure- eight the entire island so you see Haleakala Crater, the Hana Rainforest with its taro patches, black and red sand beaches, and plush coastline. Then you fly into the interior of the Island and over to the South side of the island to Makenna where you see the last lave flow Haleakala did before it went dormant 400 years ago. Then off to the South Kihei coastline and over Big Beach and Little beach. Then you go over the Southern part of the West MAUI MOUNTAINS TO THE West side of Maui with views of Lahaina, Kaanapali, and Kapalua. Then you head up the west coast and into the West Maui Mountains which you can only see by air. This is where the Wall of Tears Waterfall is- The one that is pictured in the beginning of the movie Jurassic Park. The only way you can see this beautiful waterfall is by air. Then you proceed through the cliffs and more waterfalls and you exit the mountains into I’ao Valley and then back to the Heliport.
