The Molokai Voyage is a 55 minute ride. They fly over the coast and then inland to see the wall of tears in the West Maui Mountains. Then they fly over the Pailolo Channel to Molokai and go up the Kalaupapa Peninsula where the tallest sea cliffs in the world are. Then they fly over the interior of Molokai and to the other coast which is where the Fish ponds are. The Hawaiians built the ponds over 600 years ago, and they are still in use today! Some have reported seeing sea life from the craft because the water is so incredibly clear- Manta Rays, turtles, and sharks- just to name a few. Then they head over the West side of Maui with aerial views of Kapalua, Ka’anapali, and Lahaina. Then they fly you up and over the other side of the West Maui Mountains, through Ia’o valley and back to the heliport. Magnificent!
